Water and Cherry Juice?

Although alcohol should be avoided as much as possible, those with gout should increase their intake of other fluids. Water is naturally good for the body and you should aim to drink around 8 glasses per day.
Tea and coffee is also acceptable in moderation and one of the best fluids you can drink is cherry juice. Cherries contain chemicals which are known to reduce uric acid and help to limit inflammation and so they are the perfect liquid (or food) to have in the optimum healthy gout diet.
